THE PROS
It does indeed add vibrant color to even the darkest hair. Not only that, but it's easy to wash out. I used Kinky Curl's come clean shampoo to wash it out.
THE CONS
It does rub off on lighter colored fabrics like whites and creams. And on fingers too if you run hard enough on the strands. For me, the purple color didn't match with everything. I felt like it limited my makeup and outfit choices.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall it's a cool way to add color to your clips-ins temporarily. I wouldn't do a whole strand, though. I'd keep it to just the tips.
So before you use hair chalk on your hair extensions, consider Nailah's takeaways:
- Choose a color that compliments your style and wardrobe
- Wear dark clothing, so if the color rubs off, it's not as apparent
- Don't touch your hair after it's applied! Limit your hair in hand syndrome ;)
- Only color parts of the hair (like the tips). Using chalk on the whole thing might result in a messy nightmare.
