Graduation Cap Hairstyles Part 2
This is part 2 in a 3 part series of graduation cap hairstyles. We call this the Double Fishtails. Not graduating? Stay tuned! This is still a super cute style to wear with or without a hat.
In these videos, you might notice the year is off on the cap. That’s because Jasmin busted out her old cap from last year. It was fun reliving her graduation day in the video. I hope you enjoy it too!
From there, it’s a pretty straight forward fishtail braid. Fishtail braids are super easy to do. You divide the hair into two sections. Then you take a section from the right and add it to the section on the left. Then you take a section from the left and add it to the right. You pretty much do this all the way down like so.
Then, Jasmin does the exact same thing to the other side. Afterwards, she takes her natural hair and pins them back – careful to cover all her tracks.
As you can see, this style is super cute as is. But what makes it perfect for a graduation cap? It’s flat enough for the cap to sit on her head comfortably, but then the fishtail braids give it a little more flare. This look is picture perfect – especially for those of you who like hair to frame your face.
