Janelle Monae is a an artistic icon and we love how she gives us retro glam with her natural hair. Now if your natural hair isn’t as long or as thick as Ms Monae’s, never fear! We’re going to show you how to get a similar retro posh look using Kurly Klips natural hair extensions.
Now in this video, Jasmin is using pieces from two of her Mermaid Fro sets from Kurly Klips. But you can totally achieve this look using one set too.
First Jasmin slicks her natural hair up in a ponytail, leaving out the bang in the front.
Then she uses the reverse clip method around the base of the ponytail for undetectable clips.
Finally, she uses a couple of two clip wefts to make the bang.
