Every month, we highlight a superstar Kurly who is giving us serious hair envy. Meet Tunrayo from London, England who owns a set of the Bobcat Fro and a set of the Shoulder Chic Fro. Find out how she uses Kurly Klips to stay fly in the midst of London’s wind and rain.

FAVORITE PRODUCTS TO USE ON YOUR KURLY KLIPS?

I try not to use much product on my kurly klips because I personally don’t like to put too much products on hair, but when I do I use the Shea moisture leave-in conditioner which works really well on Afro and curly hair. It’s leave my kurly klips clip-in tangle free, soft and easy to maintain.

WHAT’S YOUR CARE ROUTINE?

My care routine is really simple, I don’t like to complicate things. I wash my kurly klips with Avada Be curly range (shampoo and conditioner) after washing I then place it in a plastic bag along with Avada Be Curly conditioner for about 20-30mins for a deep condition. I rinse it out then apply the Avada Be curly curl enhancer to give my clip-ins a more define curls. I do that once every 3 weeks depending on how often I were them.

ANY FAVORITE MEMORIES WHILE WEARING YOUR KURLY KLIPS?

As you know already that London weather can be very unpredictable, it can get pretty wet and windy in a blink of an eye but knowing that my clips are secure and won’t be flying off with pour embarrassment, I put my worry aside and enjoy the moment and imagine myself walking the runway of victoria secret with my wind swept hair. My favourite memory while wearing kurly klips will have to be when I took my weave out on a working day and I had to go into work the next day, I used my kurly klips so everyone thought it was my natural hair, they said “omg your Afro looks beautiful!, it’s long and healthy” I enjoyed all the compliments, then I had to come clean and tell the truth that it wasn’t all mine.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD ANYTHING ELSE?

I reviewed the kurly Klips clip ins on Brown Beauty Talk (http://brownbeautytalk.com/kurly-klips/) an online women of colour aimed magazine and I’ve also feature kurly Klips in a few of my style blog posts on my personal blog www.stwfblog.com. I like the idea of kurly klips clip-ins, it’s versatile, great value for money and it was never let you down when your hair is not cooperating!

Tee, thank you so much for reviewing Kurly Klips and giving my small business a chance. I love all the pics you post on Instagram with the hair, and I LIVE for all the events you attend while rocking it. In a weird way, I feel like I’m living vicariously through you via the Kurly Klips. Is that weird? Probs. LOL. It’s the truth though. I love to see my Kurlies doing fab things in their Kurly Klips.
