FAVORITE PRODUCTS TO USE ON YOUR KURLY KLIPS?
Honestly, Kurly Klips are so high quality. I don’t even have a staple product I use for washing. Definitely cowash them with any old conditioner, whatever’s in the cabinet. Sometimes it’s Suave, other times it’s V05.
WHAT’S YOUR CARE ROUTINE?
I treat my Kurly Klips just like my own hair. I use the LOC method. After I cowash the clips, I layer on the Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter Leave-In Conditoner, Africa’s Best hair oil, then add Creme of Nature Argan Oil Pudding Perfection and detangle with a Tangle Teezer . I love this stuff, makes the hair shiny and soft plus it smells so good. Next, I let it hair air dry completely, like hang it over the bathroom shower rod lol. It takes like a full day but it’s worth it. Once it’s dry, give each clip a good shake and lightly rake your fingers through the curls and you’re good to go. Clip them in and go!
ANY FAVORITE MEMORIES WHILE WEARING YOUR KURLY KLIPS?
It’s so hard for me to choose just one memory with my Kurly Klips. Literally, Kurly Klips are the hair of my dreams. It’s the hair I’ve always wanted when I went natural. Enough about that, I’ll have to say my favorite memory was wearing my Kurly Klips in Jamaica. I felt like a goddess, even went snorkeling in them, I got so many compliments. Couldn’t keep it to myself, had to let the ladies know they were Kurly Klips. They were blown away. Could not believe it wasn’t my real hair.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?
My twin sis and I have been natural for a little over 5 years. Took the natural hair journey together. (She has 2 year old locs now) Actually we take just about every journey together. Recently, my sis and I have began pursuing Travel Nursing. Even took an assignment in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That was quite the experience but wouldn’t have it any other way.
