Every month, Kurly Klips aims to donate to organizations that help the Black community. After Hurrican Harvey wreaked havoc on Houston, we thought it appropriate to donate to the Houston Area Urban League, an organization that is providing on the ground support to residents who need it most.
Tell me more about the Houston Area Urban League!
The Houston Area Urban League is providing Hurricane Harvey Relief to residents in need. Not only are they responding in shelters and recovery centers, they are providing youth development, housing counseling, and health outreach.
They are also accepting donations of the following items:
- Socks
- Activewear
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Everyday Essentials
These Donations can be delivered to the Houston downtown location at 1301 Texas Ave.
